Receives, inspects, sorts and bales commingled recycling at Eastern Creek on two shifts, maximising the recovery of saleable materials while managing contamination, fire risk and the safety of people working around conveyors, balers and mobile plant.

- Inspect and accept inbound loads and record contamination
- Operate the pre-sort cabin, sorting lines and balers
- Manage the product yard and outbound bale sales
- Keep the receival hall and yard to the fire and litter controls
- Apply 5S and standardised work on every line

Deshan runs the two-shift sorting operation at Eastern Creek and has been with GreenLoop for nine years, starting as a line operator.
Luca Bianchi
Luca supervises the day shift on the sorting lines, runs the pre-start talk and signs the load inspection records, and has been on site for five years.

Records every inbound load with customer, material, weights, contamination and outcome for both processing sites.
Incident, Hazard and Environmental Event Register
Logs injuries, near misses, hazards, fires, spills, odour events, complaints and licence exceedances with severity, actions and closure.
Continuous Improvement Register
Tracks improvement actions from every site and program with owner, due date, status and measured benefit.
