Six departments make up the business. Each page shows the purpose, the people, the measures that matter and the systems the team works in.
Materials Recovery Facility
Receives, inspects, sorts and bales commingled recycling at Eastern Creek on two shifts, maximising the recovery of saleable materials while managing contamination, fire risk and the safety of people working around conveyors, balers and mobile plant.
Organics Processing
Processes food and garden organics at Windsor into certified compost and soil products, controlling odour, leachate, pathogens and contamination through documented receival, composting, screening and product testing steps.
Environmental Monitoring and Field Services
Collects and tests water, groundwater, soil, air and noise samples for GreenLoop sites and external clients, maintains chain of custody and calibrated equipment, and reports results against licence conditions and standards.
Sustainability Advisory and Reporting
Delivers energy audits, carbon footprints, sustainability reports, business cases and circular economy programs for clients and for GreenLoop itself, and prepares the regulated energy and emissions reports the business must lodge.
Operational Excellence
Runs the continuous improvement program across all sites using lean and competitive systems and practices, facilitating value stream mapping, 5S, standardised work, quick changeovers and problem-solving with operational teams.
Safety, Licensing and Compliance
Owns the safety and environmental management systems, manages the environment protection licences and their conditions, coordinates incident and complaint investigation, regulator liaison, emergency preparedness and internal audits across all sites.
